I spent twenty-one years in an operating room, and most of what I fixed there began years earlier, quietly, in someone's metabolism or gut or sleep.
I started writing these formulas because I could not find products I was willing to hand a patient. Doses were too low to matter, actives were the cheap forms, and nobody could tell me what was actually in the capsule.
So I specified every one myself, the form of each ingredient, the dose, the manufacturer. My patients take them. I take them. They sit on a shelf in my office in Armonk and I dispense them there.
